True meaning of development is to bring happiness, peace and prosperity in the lives of people. This is the reason why State Government has started small enterprises and self-employment endeavours in rural areas through Suraji Gaon Yojana, Narva, Garuva, Ghurva, Bari program, Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana, Godhan Nyay Yojana, collection and processing of forest produce. Implementation of these schemes has created a new era of self-reliance in the entire state, said Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel.
Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel was addressing the virtual program organized at his Raipur residence office today for inauguration and Bhoomi Pujan of development works worth Rs 460 crore 14 lakh for Surajpur and Koriya districts. On this occasion, Chief Minister inaugurated and performed Bhoomi Pujan of 368 construction works for Korea and Surajpur district, including inauguration of 187 works worth Rs 184 crore 28 lakh 75 thousand and bhumipujan 180 works worth Rs 275 crore 85 lakh 39 thousand. . During the program, Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel interacted with students of Swami Atmanand English Medium School, beneficiaries of Godhan Nyay Yojana, Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana and the members of the Women Self Help Groups, beneficiaries of various schemes and extended best wishes to the people of both the districts.
In response to School Education Minister Dr. Premsai Singh Tekam's request, Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel announced that branches of Cooperative Bank will be opened at Odgi and Latori area in Surajpur district, and on the demand of Parliamentary Secretary Parasnath Rajwade, Chief Minister announced construction of a bridge across Banki river on Sarhari-Singhra-Charampur road. On the request of Parliamentary Secretary Smt. Ambika Singhdeo and MLA Dr. Vinay Jaiswal, Chief Minister directed the Collector to start the construction work of District Hospital Building in Koriya and Adventure Park in Chirmiri at the earliest. Chief Minister appreciated the natural beauty of the developed tourist place in Telaikachar-Kenapara in Surajpur district and also directed the Collector to construct a hut and rest house there for the convenience of the tourists.
Vidhan Sabha Speaker Mr. Charandas Mahant, who participated virtually in the program, said that Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel has given a new impetus to the rural economy through the schemes and programs of his government. He drew attention towards the budget provision made by the state government for upgradation of Anuppur-Ambikapur railway line and development of Elephant Sanctuary. Education Minister Dr. Premsai Singh Tekam, Urban Administration Minister Dr. Shivkumar Dahariya, Higher Education Minister Mr. Umesh Patel, Parliamentary Secretaries Mrs. Ambika Singhdeo and Mr. Parasnath Rajwade, MLAs Dr. Vinay Jaiswal and Mr. Gulab Kamro also addressed the program. They said that Chhattisgarh is progressing rapidly under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel. During COVID crisis, when the entire country is going through an economic crisis, Chief Minister in Chhattisgarh is giving away hundreds of crores of rupees every day for the development of the state.
On this occasion, Home Minister Mr. Tamradhwaj Sahu, Agriculture Minister Mr. Ravindra Choubey, Urban Administration Minister Dr. Shiv Kumar Dahariya, Education Minister Dr. Premsai Singh Tekam, Parliamentary Secretary Mr. Parasnath Rajwade, Vice President and MLA of Sarguja Development Authority, Mr. Gulab Kamro, MLA Dr. Vinay Jaiswal, Additional Chief Secretary Mr. Subrat Sahu were also present. Assembly Speaker Dr Charandas Mahant, Korba MP Smt. Jyotsna Mahant, Higher Education Minister Mr. Umesh Patel, Parliamentary Secretary Smt. Ambika Singhdeo, MLAs and other public representatives participated in the program virtually.
